Law By Heart provides a legal document automation platform that enables users to:

• Generate legal documents from templates
• Search Indian court judgments
• Manage case information and hearing reminders
• Access a clause library for document drafting
• Participate in Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscription Tiers

Law By Heart offers different subscription tiers (Free, Pro, Unlimited) with varying features and limits. Details of each tier are available on our pricing page. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Law By Heart and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of documents and data you create using the Service (“User Content”). By using the Service, you grant Law By Heart a limited license to process your User Content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your legal documents.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. LAWBYHEART DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAWBYHEART SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Legal Advice Disclaimer

Law By Heart is a document automation tool, not a law firm. The Service does not provide legal advice. Documents generated should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional. We are not responsible for the legal sufficiency or accuracy of any documents created using the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
